We have a trailor tent but are having problems with the RH lights. The indicator and brake lights work but the rear lights don't. We have checked the bulb and have put on a new light mounting as the old connectors were badly corroded. Does anybody have any other ideas?

Hi Matt Sorry to hear dad has passed on. Do you know what make it is and how old? if it is a Conway try the owners club it will cost about £10 to put on the site.as we have a non conway section for sellers. seaweed

Hi. My tardis was recently vandalised - all lights and exterior fittings kicked off, cables pulled off, holes pierced in body. Fortunately caught the culprits.. 5 and 6 years old!! Parents are willing to pay for repair but as it's a 1980ish model - it would cost £1000 for body panel for a start (as it would have to be custom-made)! So think parents should give me what it would cost to...

I work with both, Conway are now owned by Pennine, i prefer the Pathfinder with its fold out beds rather than the struggle with the pull out Conways, they are a real bitch sometimes. (& we have on occasion ripped the canvas when trying to erect them) However the layout of the new models seem to be the same, I cant remember if they have done away with the pull out, but i hope they have.

hi could anyone tell me about a good folding camper? ie one that is easy to put up & doesnt cost the earth,used ones only please,i have 4 young children we have had a caravan befor but it was to big for the drive,"are they cold"?i like the look of conway cardinals & the riva/dandys i would like one with a fited toilet because of my 4 year old but dont think i could ever get that much money...

Hi Den Sorry to hear of your "mechanic" ( i use the word advisedly!) troubles. If the prime button and the bulb are sucking in then clearly the suction line between tank and priming pump has a blockage or restriction somewhere. I agree if it were the tank vent you would expect to hear an inrush of air when you remove the cap. That suggests that it is in the supply line from the tank to the...

We purchased a second-hand 1997 Conway Cruiser folding camper last year and have just returned from a 2-week stay in the south of France. On our last day we discovered the 12 volt battery was getting hot, and when testing it found that it has overcharged. Why has this happened, any ideas please?

Hi, I am hoping to buy a Conway Cardinal Folding Camper this week and would like to find out about accessories available for it. With regard to awnings, do you have to buy one specifically for the Cardinal or is there such a thing as a universal awning that fits all ? Thank you Elaine
