yer aerox's are good all around bikes but to say the best wud not be right. go and ride a any good piaggio zip preferably an older model that has been done up with an exhaust and rollers then see if it compares to an aerox. piaggio's will start everytime if you have looked after them. mine is a 2002 model and is still going 65 will exhaust and rollers my mate aerox is a 2005 model with leo vince exhaust and rollers and he is way behind so it depends on the mods you make to the bike the more you make generally you go quicker the less you make can make you go quicker.

i still say the minerelli am6 engine is the best.....like the rs gpr tzr xsm rx most geared 50's have.....just different gearing there is no fastest best bike its what you make of them.....50cc engines are so small they all depends you can buy to aprilia rs 50's brand new run them in the same and then de restrict them.....the would be different....you get some 50's that struggle 40 derestricted and you get some that hit around 50......been watchin this thread for ages but there is never going to be an answer!....true or not true?

oright lads get a speedfight 2 mine is fast and all i done 2 it is got it dersticted everywere doppler exhoust 6.5 gram rollers and by the way dnt get a genelli exhoust 3 of ma m8s hv cracked near the head and sooo did mine

what is faster a 50cc peugeot ludix blaster (apparently 1 of da fastest 50ccs about) or a speedfight silversport?
i cant decide betwen these two bikes i like the looks etc of both so which is faster?

not to piss on your chips or nothin mate, peugeot speefights and blasters are slow as hell ! you need to get a liquid cooled bike. they are a tiny bit more exspensive but worth. go for somethin like an nrg mc3 dd. very fast for a ped. a few of my friends have peugeots and none of them can touch me on mine. good luck in findindg a bike.

what bike do u have?
i don't know why but nrg's arent my cup of tea to be honest any other recommendations?

well any ped can be fast if you do the rite stuff to it. Aprillia sr50's are quite quick. Anything thats liquid cooled really. good luck

no offence but that is a pile of rubbish! u can get liquid cooled speedfights! i have a 2002 speedfight 2 wrc lc it is de- restricted and has a tenigas exhaust! i can easily hit 60mph on a flat! it is a reliable bike and i wud recomend it to anyone!!

When you say the revs die though, do you mean it loses power, or just does not accelerate? As if its rollers it shouldn't actually lose power and slow down. So if it is actually losing power, it could then maybe a problem which Drakon stated.

if your talkin the speedo indicatin 60 on your ped then realisticly your doin about 50. yes liquid cooled speedfights aint slow but sure wouldnt keep up with an nrg or aprillia sr you should know this ? and i was talkin about air cooled speedfights in the message i sent before sorry if i confused you.

i am planning to get a ludix blaster rs12 liquid cooled n all that, coz iv red loads of reviews sayin its a gd bike and fast an all the rest
after a while i think i will want to upgrade the exhaust on it to speed it up. what is better out of a leovince TT or a Doppler 'S3R'
i know there both pretty good, and the TT is cheaper, what makes the doppler more expensive, does it make the bike go faster than the TT does or what???

nah it wasnt my speedo it was one of those check ur speed signs which i got 63 mph. sr's are fast my m8 has one and they are virtuly unbeatable off the line but once i get to about 40 mph i fly past him! ngr's in my opnion are over rated! fast acceleration but tops out around 45-50!

nah i was told nrgs do that sort of speed to but mine doesnt. i brougt it second hand, all that has been done is fully deristricted and a mk sports pipe. it does 69 mph obv down hill. the previous owner had a speeding ticket to prove this. easliy does 60 on flat.and has just as good if not better accel than two sr's i know

Well piaggio engines and the minerelli engine which yamaha use and a few other bikes are around the same peformance but the piaggio egines have either a 17.5mm dellorto or a 18mm webber standard and sum zips have 16mm mikuni carbs whereas the minerellis run 12mm so the piaggio have the advantage, but if u tune them up they bout the same. The quickest is a geared bike cant remember wat one, the quickest 50cc twist and go will be the the piaggio zip sp(liquid cooled) , which is y they race them.

yeh thats right, them zips are amazingly quick! i once see one that was capable of 85 mph. obv very highly tuned and cost a bomb but bet was fun to ride.

right i have a 04 plate aerox which i have blown up but this is how it went when i had it going with a standard 50cc bore/aarow race pipe/33% pm tuning primary gear up/carbon reeds/polini varaitor/17.5 mil carb with a 90 jet in it and i was clocked by a car doing 67mph i then added a hebo 70cc single piston bore and was clocked by my dads bike a gsxr 750rr doing 82mph
this was with a hebp 70cc bore/aarow race pipe/33% primary gear up/carbon reeds/polini variator/17.5 mil carb with a 90 jet which is pritty gd i think well tell me wat u think and my bike is a 04 plate aerox
