the fastest 50cc is a gilera runner defo they are the best looking peds and are rapid....the lad with the speedfighter if you want it to go about 70 ish upgrade to a 70cc bigbore kit.

sorry mate ur wrong,
1. GILERA RUNNERS ARE UGLY!!!!
and 2. they aint the fastest at all, everyone needs to get a malaguti firefox f15, it aint a very well known manafacturer cus they usually do motocross and superbike *!#%!@, but anway i got one and i spent about £150 gettin the big bore kit, and now it pulls 75 on a straight easy and i had it to 80 but it doesnt sound too nice at those revs lol. and i still got the standard exhaust! gettin a leo vinci exhaust soon tho!!!

but then again my mate has a derbi senda racing edition with 70cc big bore kit, new carb new reeds new crankshaft, hebo air filter, metrakit exhaust and some other tinkerings. and that pulls 90+!!! but he spent like £2000 on it so jokes on him really lol.
to be honest guy they are jsut 50cc peds. an extra 5 mph will get u nowhere any faster at the end of the day and ur just increasing the chances of blowing it up!!!! get ur bike/ped to about 60. THEN STOP. dont be under the impression that ur gunna have a bike that can outrun a 125 or something cus it AINT GUNNA HAPPEN.

actuli a 2t 70ccc scooter with a serious race setup can wipe the floor with a 125, but onli if the 125 is 4 stroke.

Hi DrakonNKD you say that you have just had your derestricted and had sports jets put on cause that seems really really fast for just a 50cc u sayin 70-80 mph how much did it cost you for your sports jets as well i have a drakon as well and im trying to make mine faster cheers

well no *!#%!@ my mates 125cc ped only pulls like 65-70. 4 strokes are useless to you start getting to the big bikes

hi, if your looking to make your bike faster, just upjetting the carb will make next to no difference, because your ike will just start running to rich, resulting in the sparkplug getting oily after long journey's and overall problems. i reccomend a k&n type air intake, paired with bigger jets this should give your bike an extra 10mph depending on the capabilities of your engine. you can probably get both off of a website i used called adrenaline-pedstop, you could probably get both delivered to you for less than £15. another idea would be to buy a boost bottle, this works similairly to a turbo kit on bigger engines, basically it is putting more air into the carb, so it can burn more fuel effectively aslong as you have the right jet setup. i did this and it gave me an extra 15-20mph!!! (and to be honest i think that other drakon matey is talking *!#%!@, just derestricting a ped and upjetting the carb would not get you to 70-80mph. they are 50cc!!!! thats 0.05L cylinders. they can only give so much power

Hi there people i have just bought a yamaha aerox r brand new and it has 56 miles on it lol it is *!#%!@ slow i can only get it upto like 38mph downhill. and when going up hill christ not good at all how many miles do i have to do before i get mods such as malossi mhr rep 70cc, mhr exhaust, hebo crank, malossi 21mm carb, malossi mulitvar etc i need to no when i can start modifiying it thanks.

take the exhaust off, give the restricting cone a smack with a hammer, and u should be up to 55+ straight away. aerox's are quick peds mate good choice

no offence m8 but u dnt kno wot ur talkin about, 55mph with exhaust derestricted. to get 55 ul need to upjet the carb about 10 sizes and also derestrict the variator, not just the exhaust, i used to hv an earox aswel m8. cracker bikes.

And what did you attach your boost bottle to? A jet engine, because boost bottles are crap so i dunno how you got an extra 15-20mph out of it on a 50.

not quite sure if you actually read my advert, his bike was restricted. i said de-restrict the exhaust, add a boost bottle (which might not affect your moped any good but thats like giving a turtle a pair of running trainers, its still a turtle.) and upjet the carb, should get him to atleast 60, and if doesnt then invest in a better bike, or give up. and to whoever said you cant get 55 just by derestricting, what ped do you have? when i first got my firefox, it was bulk standard. it did about 35 on a straight, i beat the restrictor out and without touching *!#%!@ it was upto 55-60, and aerox's are just as quick. and by the way upjetting by 10 sizes? id love to see you get that running.

and also, i have been fixing bikes since i was 10 years old and i have owned and repaired more bikes than you have seen. so dont start telling me i dont know what im talking about
