has everyone ever thought to upgrade the brakes? its all well and good doin "90" mph on a scooter but ur brakes are designed for a 30mph bike.

hi my motorhispaina furia dose 65 no problems and even with standerd brakes it still stops extremely well

yeah, i think the motorbikes are different ( because gears can be used to slow you) however the max speed of the bike is still only ment to be 30. chris

wen i was 16 now 17 i had 8 50cc cuz none would do more then 65 fully deristriced but now i have a speedfight 100 and it does 110 easy peasy on the flat and i aint spent a peny on it all ive done it force air induction pipes from the plastics to side box etc ive polised the verator slides and relined them to prevent slipping then i did the exaust removed all washers and restricers for increased escape from the block then i got the cylinder head and sanded it down with glass as my level it does work cus my speed went from 75 to 90 after that then i removed all heavy things ie the bower look from the back then i made my 3t oil with is 3 quters 2t and 1quter 4t missed alot them it give lower burn temp thicker consitancy then u get better burn but don use any more then useall then the next step was to trim the veriator belt so it rises higher and get bestter speed only bout 7mph then tightednd spark plug that stopped it from missing all the time down hill i used high heat loktight god 4 600 farhenhight now im boreed so nomore 4 u lolz iff u wanna know more and how to do it just ask my msn address is [Log in to view email] okies cheers maxrichards

im not tryin to start arguments but a speedfight 100 has 9 hp fully derestricted. i had one and did alot of work to it. no more than 70mph (real speed). i have an xj600s ( with 75hp) and it only does around 150. im sorry but over 100mph out of a speedfight engine is impossible.forced induction will actuly be slowing your ped down aswell m8. it doesnt relly work on a 2 stroke. its becus it forced the reed valves to stay open (when they are ment to close) this makes u loose massive amounts of power. chris

forced air into the boost bottle contains looose air that escapes over short periods of time oh corsue if shot air stairt into the carb it would flood my engine and due to my bike having 9hp my ass i have the 122cc evo kit by polini mouth gets u know were i know but ive had to save stoopid amouts of money to create my ped up from being a writen off peice of *!#%!@ to well loooked after anf maintaiend machine this bike haz been my on going project for like 5 months and i aint finished ok

i did say i wasnt going to start arguments! i relly dont wanna argue. im just givings facts. and i only said 9hp because you sed u havnt spent any money on it. and a boost bottle is ment to contain air with petrol vapour, now pressurised air :S . you mite well have spent alot of time on this bike. ive had dosens of project at different tunning levels, however the fact remains 110 from a speedfight engine is impossable. how did u "clock" it at that speed???how much hp do you think you have?? chris

ooo i also thought ud like to know that the land speed record for a 100cc motorcycle is 138 mph. that was set in a streemlined vehicle, with a super charger and nitros injection that weighed a quarter of what ur scooter does. regards chris

Sorry to burst your bubble which you clearly have of a boost bottle improving performance but its near enough a fact that it doesnt improve performance what so ever, which if you follow malossi scooter races you will see they have no such thing. They are cylinders of metal which do nothing except make your bike look like it has NOS. just thought you should know.

lol boost bottles are just their for show, if somone said that putting a keyring on your bike would make it faster without any proof some clowns would actually beleieve it

kl then 172's a well fast my m8 got 1 of then they just keep on goin my speedy does 75 and he goes past me like an extra 50

as i have said before to make it go faster push it out of a plane from high altitude it cant fail to be the fastest unless you have rockets strapped onto it then it should make it really fast but please dont try this unless you have the relevant safety gear ...please do be safe i have seen plenty of good friends in boxes by thinking they was clever and a better rider than everyone else .if you want to go fast on peds keep it on the track not on the public highway ...trust me i know what i am on about

i think you make a valid point, but modifying a scooter does not mean you are goin to break speed limits. i regualy use mine on the motorway (passed test).

genraly i dont mean to bee so rude but now i will ok the race ped he talks about is a heap and the poline racing pug 100 does 120mph fact look it up and its done with simple ie.. people who actully have a clue wat there talking bout wit bike do because just my twidling wid the carbjet on the side u can add an extra 5 to 7 mph depending on the bike and by sand the cyclider head on any ped u can iincrease speed up to 20 mph due to to the heat expantion rule and by using forced air in a corect way to a boost bottle u add another 7 to 10 mph ok anther fact it aint to make it look like NOS wtf u on bout u utter fool it aint gonna work if ur ped aint ped been properly run in and cared for also modded properly also ok now can this please be the end of this and i think the fastest 50 is the paiggio typhoon ok peace
