you can take anything on the motorway if you have the appropriate license as far as i knowit is up to you whether or not you judge the vehicle safe enough to do so for example, if i went on with my ped, i couldnt be done for riding on the motorway because i have my full license, but i could because i aint meeting the speed limit/minimum speed limit

Prohibited vehicles. Motorways MUST NOT be used by pedestrians, holders of provisional car or motorcycle driving licences unless exempt, riders of motorcycles under 50cc, cyclists and horse riders. Certain slow-moving vehicles and those carrying oversized loads (except by special permission), agricultural vehicles and most invalid carriages are also prohibited.

yeah under 50cc is ilegal, ie 49 ( most peds) mine is 70 thankfully. and yes you must have a full driving licence.chris

i am usuly in no way rude, and never argue about things. most people on the forum know that i know what im talkin about, but u seem to disagree with the laws of physics.haha, ok what the hell are u talking about, "carbjet on the side" do u mean the mixture screew or the main jet?? sanding the head? do u not mean polishing. and technicly if u port too much you will loose power acording to the gas expansion rule. pv/t= constant (expansion rule) means u need a small volume to keep the pressue strong. im sorry but all these top speed figures u quote are rediculous, to incress the top speed you must incress the top rpm. all the things you have said are to increase the bhp. they will increase the rpm a bit, but not by as much as you think. and just so you kno i am 3 years into a mechanical engineering degree an queens university, so there is no need to be so patronising, dont think i know nothing. you havnt ansered how you know what the top speed of your ped was "clocked". chris

ok i have custom clocks by hebo and also i dont mean mean polish i would of said port polish and ive been working on bike since i was ten i repair bikes that are written off and im a fully trainded deisel and petrol machanic and have been for a long time i also have been perfecting my technics for over a year now i never wanted to start an argument any way uu could of just told me to shut the *!#%!@ up and your moped or bike haz to be over 65cc to travell on a motorway i travel on because i have a full bike liecence

yes and i also have a full licence, and dnt use a ped everyday, i have a 600. i dont wish to argue anymore.do you have any video or proof? i dout it. and clocks lie m8, get a gps. i dont need to prove myself anymore, people arnt stupid. what bhp do u think u have? chris ps i didnt say port polish becus the head isnt a port.

ok man truse but i never said it would do 110 i said im going for 110 mph as ive seen it done and want to acheve this someday and cool what 600 do you have im going to buy a yamaha yzf r125 wen the price come's down of course or untill some one crashes one lolz

o, ok i must have misunderstood. its a yamaha xj600s. ive done some light tunning to it, but im planing more once the scooter project is finished. yeah those 125's are nice. you should definitly get either one of those or a gsxr 125.
heres a pic of my bike ( all packed up for the north west 200 road race, if anyone know what im talking about).

only way physically possible is to drop from a plane or to fit a larger engine then of course that would be cheating ...just get a bike ..hey i had peds when i was a kid now i know better ..its good to dream though ...

What a complete load of twaddle from some of the posts on here about how fast their moped can go (if its over 50cc its not a moped anymore) and it seems things haven't really moved on in 30 years........Now one of my first bikes was a fantic gt super 6 (my first was fantic ti that got written off by my mate pretty quick at almost 60ish and 7.2 bhp).......IT did a real 65 mph (as recorded in the Motorcycle mechanics magazine) and kicked out 9.5 bhp as standard...no big bore kit or other mods required....now I still think that probably holds the record for the FASTEST standard moped EVER

you say 110 what exactly ? mph kmh ..kmh bit more realistic ..change subject what do you know about lawn mower racing ?? i am just taking this up and haven't a clue except make it rev harder larger wheels and maybe spikes in the tyres ..any advice welcome i am new to it
