I am also accused of loving Tipper more than anyone in our home. Nothing upsets me that she does, breaking wind, accidents, etc. When I lie down on the couch this 26 kg dog lays on me like I'm her bed. She insists on belly scratching & if I don't, her hind leg kicks my hand "down there" telling me to do my job. After a good scratching, she will lick me like a lollypop. She'll stop then push my hand down there to let me know it's my turn. This dog has an unbelievable mind. If she has done something bad she tells on herself. Tail tucked & barely waggin' with her ears straight back. I'll say, "Tipper, what did you do?" She will then lead me to her dirty deed. 2 times I have come home & she acted this way & led me to my guitars in the basement. She had eaten my leather guitar straps. The only thing left were the metal buckles. Is that not hilarious? If I slap myself she goes mad. She doesn't like any violence except if it's towards her, like a sound patting on her taut body. That doesn't bother her in the least. I'll never have anything else but a bully for the rest of my life. No other dog comes close, in my opinion. She also snores like a human. It cracks my wife up when we're asleep together on the couch, both snoring, everyone exits the room to watch tv in a quieter place.

Everyone in this forum is probably tired of my Tipper stories but it's fun to write these things down for those who are interested & can identify with a bull terrier's behavior. Today was bath day. After her bath she always insists on a snack & tennis ball play time which I usually agree to. But today I didn't fulfill the 2nd part of the deal since it's so wet outside so she decided to harass the cats for fun instead & got her pretty little face all clawed up. She's like a 3 year old child that'll never grow up, which is fine with me. She now won't leave my side. I'm going to play music (LOUD MUSIC) in the basement while she rests on the sofa, oblivious to the noise. She just enjoys being around her "peoples". She's something.

Tipper will eat ANYTHING. When my wife is preparing meals Tipper is always under her feet. Tipper thinks anything that lands on the floor during meal prep is food. Lettuce, onion, hot pepper. That's right, hot pepper. Nancy was cutting up some for a Mexican dish & before she could reach it Tipper had gobbled it up. It was part of a habenero. One VERY hot pepper. Extremely spicey. She called me to the kitchen to ask me what we should do (& to have a laugh at Tippers expense). Tipper just sat on the floor with her ears up waiting for another treat. The difference was, every few seconds she would open her mouth flailing her tongue as if she had peanut butter stuck to the roof of her mouth. But she was unphased & stared waiting for the next treat while we laughed our a$$es off. You could set a clock by it. Every 4 seconds, same cycle which would last 2 or 3secs, then a stare like, what's so funny? Gimme a snack? Her farts were pretty bad that night.
