Hi Kate. Yes would love to meet up, have you anytime this weekend free. You only live about 10 mins away, my daughter works in Nat West Bank on Gloucester Road which cant be far from you. I am sure Nero and Milly will get on fine but he may try humping her but she has had the op so it should be fine. Have you got any suggestions on where we can meet? Julie

Hi Kate,
I hope Nero's problem get better! Lola has never has fleas but her allergy is so strong that if she goes near a place/dog that has them her body reacts and she starts getting the lumps. When the lumps bleed she they get infected (that’s why they smell) and they became Pyoderma (that is when they need to be treated with antibiotics).
I suggest you get Nero’s and allergy test, it is expensive but you will save lots of money in the Vet once you find what is wrong with him.

i have not had any problems with the neighbours they have been great, its now me getting really annoyed as i can not sit in the garden without arry going nuts at the slightest noise and jump up at the fences, so i end up coming in and shutting the doors. little s**t bag he is but i still love him, heehee.

Hi Julie
I would have loved to have met this weekend but I've it arranged to see my Mum for sometime. What about the weekend after (12th/13th) or if not any other weekends? I'll have a good think about where would be good to meet up.

Virginia: Thanks for the info about Lola's condition - it does sound very similar and I will ask my vet to do an allergy test.

Better go cos Nero is barking like mad in the garden and I better see what's going on...!

Love to all
Kate

Hi Kate. 12th or 13th in the morning will be fine. Let me know. What was Nero barking at in the garden?? If our neighbours walk up the path in their garden Milly will bark like mad, I bet they get fed up with her but I think she is a good guard dog if anyone tried to come in the garden she will have them. Julie

Hi Vicky. How strange for Alfie to act like that I bet it was quite funny really. We have our friends pitbull staying with us while they are on holiday for 3 weeks, he is as good as gold. He gets on with Milly so well she loves having him to play with, they play tug of war and they have already broken, 2 string toys, 2 Frizbees and a fluffy toy. Milly is alot stronger than him. Do your lot play like that. Julie

Hi Julie
Sorry I haven't got back before now. I've been really quite worried about Nero's skin which has been getting worse and have had several conversations/trips to the vets. I asked about it being an allergy as suggested by Virginia and they said it sounds like it and have booked him in for Thurs cos the normal lady we see is away. I read on here (or maybe another forum when I was first searching for answers?) about one lady giving her bullie Piriton allergy tablets and it doing the trick so I thought it can't do any harm to try them whilt we're waiting til Thurs. I've used them myself and they've always done the trick. Anyway, amazingly they seem to be working and I really hope it continues cos I just felt so helpless and sorry for him!
I totally understand if you have other plans now but if you're still free I'd love to meet up on Sun morning? Or another time if not? I'll have a look on the map for parks and possible places in between us to meet.
It's mad that Milly is stronger than your friends pitbull! Bullies are strong aren't they.
Bullie love to all
Kate
P.S. I think Nero was barking at a fox - we have quite a few city foxes round here and they make him go nuts!

Yes looking forward to meeting Nero and Kate on Sunday morning. I must remember to take my camera, will let you know how we get on. Have a nice weekend yourself, doing much. I am so fed up with this weather, its raining and its supposed to be like this all day. Julie

Hiya all,
just thought i would say hello as i have more time now heehee,
hope all your bullies are ok and yourselves too.
Bailey and Arry are fine, playing with a football at the mo drivin me mad with all the noise, lol.
Im hoping to book Arry in to be done pretty soon, not sure i want to after what happened with Bailey but it needs to be done as he is driving me mad, i hope it will calm him down a little as its getting to the point now he is barking and bareing his teeth at me when i tell him off, (i do give him a smack when he does it, to show im still boss) but sometimes i have to walk away from him because he gets to agreesive, he has not yet bit me but he has bit the other half, which he took a chunk from his arm, he also keeps going for Bailey for no apparent reason (poor thing she is gettin really scared of him now and stays away) but never ever has he gone for the children, very strange really, i dont know what is wrong with him.
He doesnt do it everyday he might do it once or twice a week nothing more than that though.
Anyway im off to finish cleaning while i got rid of all the girls at school,
take care of yourselves and you babies,
big XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX'S to you all from me, Bailey and Arry.

Hi Sam. Welcome back. I can imagine the noise of your two playing with a football. Milly does that growling thing with me at mealtimes she has never biten any of us but I do get a bit scared even though I dont let her see it, if my husband is around she knows not to do it because she will get a good hard smack but as soon as hes not around she gets funny with me and if I shout at her and tell her to get in her basket she growls and stands her ground the little bugger. We have Kudo staying with us for the next 3 weeks so they are playing tug of war all the time so it keeps her occupied but she doesn't get funny with him or my grandson. What a miserable day today its peeing down here. Julie

Hi Julie,
Yes i know the feeling its been chucking it down here all day, i wanted to take the dogs over the park but its just to bad to go out at the mo, with Arry pulling on the lead so bad he ends up pulling me over and with it being so muddy he will send me flyingall the time, heehee.
I bet its great having Kudo around, takes the stress off you alittle bit not having to entertain Milly as much, has your other half agreed yet on you being able to get another bullie????
