Hi Anne,
I havnt actually had an english myself but the stud dog to my pups did the same thing either when he got to excited or when he was really hot from running around, we ended up finding out he had a heart defect, please dont think that this is what is wrong with yours but its worth looking into as our vets said he would not live more than 3 years old, my Arry is his son and he has sarted to do the same thing he wont run around more than half an hour before he is laid out on the floor, which is a shame really as he doesnt run around the park as much as my Bailey does.
Hope this helps alittle.
Saucy Sam, Bailey and Arry.

Hi Nobby,
there isnt many dif things that bullies do that any other dog doesnt do apart from their bully runs, where they go nuts running around for about half an hour, which is very very funny to watch, the other thing they do which isnt that often is stancing where they will slow walk passed something (usually a bush or a cristmas tree).
The other thing they can have (and i mean can not always) skin problems, from my experiance with my 2 Bailey is the only 1 that has had a skin problem she is allergic to grass (how strange you are thinking but its true).
im not sure if there is anything else but im sure if there is someone will def point it out to you very soon.
hope this helps alittle,
all the best,
Saucy Sam, Bailey and Arry. xxxxx

Hi sam the man
Thanx for that hun, it wud be lovely to meet , maybe one day when all this settles down but thanku for the lovely thought!!!
Fingers crossed that cream works then eh?? Hope u enjoyed ur day of peace and ur walk in the park , my poor babies have been a bit neglected lately becoz of everything thats gone on, but hopefully be back on track soon although it does worry me if i will manage to cope with the 4 dogs, my mastiff is a nitemare on walks as she is terrified of everything and shys away and pulls on the lead, she hatesother dogs aswell so cant take her with the kids as it wud be a nitemare!! Alfie the bully is great but just gets himself soooo exited that he leaves u deaf after u have finished he squeels all the way there and doesnt stop till ur on ur way home!! needless to say i get a few funny looks!!! lol!!! The cross staff is the best one to walk, he is a dream as he was the 1st and he went to training classes so he is very obedient, pulls a bit but thats it! And then u have rhet the cross ebt who pulls my arm off!!!
anyway take care talk soon xxx

Hi nobby, oooh those jackets sound nice, will u order me one ready for my arrival!!! lol!!!
Yep as saucy said bullys are definately a breed apart!
Traits include, as already said,
. bully runs
. trancing
. stubborness
. playin deaf, and dumb
. Oh and how did u 4get saucy, THE WORSE FLACTULANCE U HAVE EVA SMELT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But also the most loyall and loving of all breeds in my opinion!!
1 big thing i will say though is be prepared for a full on puppy for about 3 yrs, as it takes most of them that long to start to chill, but once that happens u will av to fight for ur couch! I have to drag alfie off the couch to go out 4 a wee!!!!
Anyway hun, see ya soon, anythin u need me to bring let me know!!
U know grapes, fags, drugs!!!! lol!!!!
Take care hun xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi susan,
I have a nine month old ebt called bruno, he has bad skin as well, been tested for ringworm but nothing showed up. The vet has now prescribed medicated shampoo twice a week for a month, if no better he has to have skin scrapes. Nobby suggested hibiscrub but I havent tried it yet. Its after we have been for a walk in the woods or fields, covered in lumps, then a few days later he skin is all red looking. He is white so you can see the difference in colour where he isnt sore.
I also have people that look at him in disgust, some even cross the road when they see him. It makes me really cross. I find little dogs often growl at him even though he is on a lead and they are not.
He does come off his lead when I am with my friends or people that are friendly and say let him play. I just know if anything nasty happened even if it wasnt his fault he would get the blame, so I do not put him in that position. He is a lovely natured dog who loves playing with his mates, they all run round the field chasing each other, he has to have a rest every now and again though, thats when he crawls along the grass on his belly.

I have spoken to his breeder who I am in touch with all the time, she said it might be pyoderma, ever heard of it? Also that some vets dont have a clue when it comes to ebts and their skin.

Hello everyone. I'm back from my 2 week holiday in Bude, had a brilliant time, Milly enjoyed herself so much she was spoilt rotten she had so many walks on different beaches and cliff walks, met so many different dogs she had a great time.
Hi Kim, what part of Cornwall do you live anywhere near Bude, we could of met up for a walk.
Hi Sam, loved the pictures of your Soctt's wedding, it looked a brilliant day. All that money pinned on the bride and groom was amazing.
Hi Vicky. So sorry to hear about your split, hope you are OK and how are your children taking it. Is there any chance you may get back together? Everybody on the forum is really concerned for you, how nice people want to help. You know if I can do anything to help I will. I do have your home phone number perhaps I can ring for a chat sometime if you want. Julie
