Hi all,
just joined tonight.I have bought a r reg 1998 rover 620 sli .it has 73k,as a taxi driver ,fuel economy is important.Can anyone advise me about converting my car to lpg,I saw a web site where a guy had it done for £500,but can't find it now.
Is it worth having this done???thanks

Regarding the explosive nature of LPG, If you need to ask how to do it then DON'T.
If you had a gas appliance fitted in your home, it would have to be by a corgi engineer. This is for a reason, so it should really appluy to vehicles.
It is far better to get a specialist to do it they are qualified,insured and on the whole good value for money.Another thing to think about is if your car caught fire, exploded or whatever your insurance could refuse to pay out.

Hi terrier, you got the wrongend of the stick,I am trying to find out WHERE I can get it done properly,I don't want to do it myself.I just wanted to know more about it and how to find out where you get it done,and if any one has had it done and if the car still runs ok etc.Tracy
