Rover 620 sli lpg conversion

just joined tonight.I have bought a r reg 1998 rover 620 sli .it has 73k,as a taxi driver ,fuel economy is important.Can anyone advise me about converting my car to lpg,I saw a web site where a guy had it done for £500,but can't find it now. Is it worth having this done???thanks

If you had a gas appliance fitted in your home, it would have to be by a corgi engineer. This is for a reason, so it should really appluy to vehicles. It is far better to get a specialist to do it they are qualified,insured and on the whole good value for money.Another thing to think about is if your car caught fire, exploded or whatever your insurance could refuse to pay out. Let me know where you are and I'll make sure i catch the bus !!!
