HI, YES I'M BACK,I HAVE BEEN SPENDING A LOT OF TIME AWAY IN STOCKHOLM WITH THE RUNNER 50 AND I'VE CRACKED IT,HARD WORK EVEN FOR ME .I'M NOW CHANGING THE FRAME OF THE ICE AS IT IS 6 INCHES TO SMALL IN LENTH,BIG BEAR.

HI,IF YOU ARE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR SCOOTER THE LET ME KNOW,TELL ME WHAT YOU HAVE DONE AND THE CC,I,M NOW BACK FROM SWEDEN FOR THREE DAY UNTILL 24TH,AS I'M WANTED IN SPAIN TO START ON THE PEUGEOT SCOOTER AND HAVE SOME FUN,BIG BEAR.

Dam i was away for a few days, when your back let me know and if it is still not running properly maybe you can help. But i got in contact with an other shop who has a guy who used to race scoot and knows his sh1t, so hopefully he can sort it out.

Ok, well with lite rollers it takes off up to 30 put doesn't get the second boost but it creeps up to about 40 and with heavy rollers its just flat acceleration no take off and hits 40 at a long run. i put it into a new shop a guy there used to race scoots. i was in with them yesterday and were the gear and the rear pulley connect wasn't connecting right it was kinda wobbly if that makes sense, also the pulley was rubbing against the gear casing and the was a groove were it had and said i shud get my original gearing. They said the clutch was also a bit worn.

HI, IF YOU HAVE A 70CC KIT THEN YOU WILL NEED THE GEAR-UP KIT,BUT IF IT IS A 50CC THEN THE GEAR-UP KIT WILL NOT WORK WELL AS THE SPROCKET SIZE IS A LITTLE LARGER.WITHOUT THE KIT IT WILL REACH UP TO 60MPH DOWN HILL MAX WITH THE LITTLE WHEELS,YOU CAN CHANGE THE REAR TO A 140 NOT THE 130,THIS WILL GIVE YOU 5MPH MORE GIVING YOU A LOT MORE PULL THAN THE GEAR KIT,HOPE THIS HELP'S,BIG BEAR

Ya iv got the MHR rep kit (12hp), when i got it put on first i had a Malossi sport kit n da gear kit zapped the power out of it. Iv got everything Malossi in it. But it still wont go its like it still restricted but defo is not.

HI,HAVE YOU TAKEN OUT THE PLATE IN THE CARB?,AND IS THE WHOLE THE LARGER SIZE IN THE MAN ?,WHAT SIZE JET HAS IT?AND HAVE YOU REMOVED BOTH PLASTIC WASHERS FROM INSIDE THE CRANKCASE?,HOPE THIS HELPS BIG BEAR.

are the intake mainfolds restricted too,
i thought they had a smaller diameter hole, i made my own :D but u can buy them

As i sed iv everything malossi, this includes the carb (21mm malossi) and the manifold (MHR) There are NO restrictors in it, iv had the bike from new since 03 and it's been fully derestricted for years, up until i got the MRH exhaust fitted it would do 60mph no prob and iv had it up to 74mph on the motorway.

As i sed there are NO restrictors, not even in the exhaust, anyway brought it to a diff garage n they sorted it, it was to do with the gearing, but by the time i got home it was lacking power again.

HI,GEARS WORK OR THAY DON'T,THAY DON'T JUST LOSE POWER?,TRY REMOVING YOUR PETROL CAP AND RUN IT DOWN THE ROAD IF THIS WORKS THEN I WILL TELL YOU WHAT TO DO,IF YOUR SCOOTER NEED MORE OIL THEN YOU WILL NO BY PUTTING A LITTLE IN THE TANK, BIG BEAR.

hi, my gilera ice has never really worked since i put a leo vince exhaust on it. i have de restricted the exhaust, taken out the washers in the variator, and the brass plate in the filter. i have the 5 gram weights in.(do i need others) i didnt put the springs in that came with the exhaust as it said not to. my ice doesnt go more than 30mph, i am wondering if anyone can help. it has really crap acceleration and takes around 5 seconds to get going which is a problem at roundabouts. i need to put a new jet in and i dont know which one to get. also my display unit doesnt work, i have purchased a new one and the problem persisted. the 4 lights at the side work, but no display, does anyone else have the same problem?? or know how to fix it?

HI,THE JET YOU HAVE I THINK IS A 56,TRY A 65/70,THIS SHOULD HELP,THE PROBLEM WITH THE DISPLAY I HAVE HAD MY SELF AND WITH A LOT OF ICES,CHANGE THE BATTIERY AND CLEAN THE CONTACT'S,IF THE DISPLAY IS COMES ON AND OFF AND YOUR FLASHERS ARE FLASHING FAST THEN THATS IT,THE STALKER AND THE ICE TRASH BATTIERYS SO NEXT TIME BUY A WET ON FOR A RUNNER LIKE I DID,GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR OIL UP A LITTLE OR YOUR POT AND PISTION WILL GO NOT FUNNY , GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN BIG BEAR.

hi i need a bit of help. i have jsut put on a leo vinci tt on my gilera ice.and have put on the rollers which came with it. it does a reasonable speed, but i want it to go more, what do u suggest i do? i was thinking of a new carb as i think my on is a bit old, and a 70cc kit. but if i get a 70cc kit and a 70cc is there anything think else i need to change like the gear kit?

you will need to get a kevlar drive belt to take the new power and a race crankshaft as well. No the carb wont be up jetted and get urself a 21mm carb.

Hi, i have a gilera ice 2001 reg.
i have it derestricted and malossi sports pipe.
my first question is how can u change the electric speedo from kmh to mph.
also where can i get new wheel's from for the ped as i dont like the standard wheels.
my last question is i want to spray it, but ive been asked £20 per pannel. are spray cans any good, like proper ones made for spraying pannels etc.
ps. Im gettin 55 out of it at the mo, whats the best way to get upto 65-70 thanks

Ok, if i remember right coz all ice's come in Km's to start, its odd that it is still in Km's but anyway if you have the manual its in that, otherwise with the bike off i.e the key at the off position, hold down the mode button and the middle button then turn the bike on and keep holding for a sec, this shud change it. I may be wrong to which buttons u hold down but it is the middle button and one either side, there's only three so shudn't be to hard.
Ok the wheels, this one is a bit more difficult, its not that you can buy wheels specifically for it but if you get the size, dimensions etc you can find one from an other scoot that will fit it, some companies make "alloys" for scoots but not many, iv had my ice brand new from 03 and still haven't found a site that has "alloys" specific for the ice. (If someone can correct me please do)
For the paint £20 a panel seems a bargain, dont think that is a full respray, painting any vehicle requires alot more then a lick of paint, there are a couple of layers more then just the colour your getting done, second if you want to get a it painted get done properly stay away from the cans. Iv been told that for me to get a proper paint job done on my ice it will cost about 500 Euro.
Ok to get it to that speed takes a lot but its not just the speed its also how fast it gets there, mine with less done got to that speed but not as quick now its a rocket and iv hit 74mph on the motorway, hopefully i shud get a bit more out of it because iv got the MHR race exhaust on now.
Finally this is wat i have down to mine (Everything Malossi), MHR (malossi hyper racing) race rep 70cc kit, MHR crankshaft and MHR bearings, MHR manifold, MHR kevlar drive belt X, MHR race exhaust (made specifically for the 70 kit),MHR clutch bell and Malossi delta clutch, variator, gear up kit, torque driver, CDI unit, 21mm carb and race air filter, boost bottle. Think im forgetting something but you get the idea.
Do you research before you start, you are gonna have endless problems from doing this but the one thing iv learned from doing this is that if you are tuning your scoot make sure its not your everyday vehicle. It took me nearly 3 years to learn that one after going through 3 70 kits and a piston replacement.
