thanks that helped alot.
ashame it was too late, i sprayed with a can from halfords look aboslutly terrible. had drips all over it so i sanded it all off.
today i got a exhaust but no rollers i left the stardard rollers. i would full throttle it at 10 mph and not move then randomly i would start flying.
I went to a bike shop and picked up some malossi 5.5g rollers and had them fitted. This helped a little but im still full throttleing it and its going really slow then will start flying again but not as slow as it was before to get going. I seriously need help with this problem due to at traffic lights and islands i never know if the power is going to be there to pull away.
Btw the exhaust is either TT or ZX i think ZX but the badge fell off.
If you could post ur msn that would be extremly helpfull.
My main concern at the moment is the shire lack of power when pulling off, it feel's like the power is there but something is blocking it then once im going for like 3 sec's full throttle the power comes.

Try getting a Malossi variator, when i first got an exhaust fitted, i had the same prob, my bike shop told me it would be random but with the variator it wud be fine and it was. Why does every one in England go for those leo vince pipe's, i dont understand it they are sh!t.

get tighter clutch springs, on a 2 stroke the power kicks in when the exhaust is in its power band. with the different exhaust the power doesnt kick it to higher revs,so until it gets to those revs it will be *!#%!@ and feal like its about to stall.

hi i need some help. i got a 21mm carb, but the air filter is to big for it. do i have to return it or can it somehow still be fitted on.

u can get a rubber ring that will fit in the ring of the filter to close the gap or just get a new one, there cheap enuf.

i'm trying to fix my sons Gilera which he has mullered by tinkering and not knowing what he's doing.
i need to change the rubber manifold from the carb. when i looked at it
it doesnt have nuts holding it in but fixings i've never seen.
their round with a pin like thing in the middle. can anyone enlighten me
as to how to remove them-is there some sort of tool i dont know about?
any help gratefully received

I remember when i first got my 21mm carb put on, they told me in the shop that when they were taking off the carb that the pins holding in the manifold were hard to take out and broke when they did, they just pulled them out and put new bolts in.

i have just got a gilera ice it has a arrow pipe and a 70cc bore kit i dunno which 1 though. it doesnt always turn on and takes longggg to turn over so i thought best thing to do instead of buying new bore kit etc etc cos bore and exhaust are bothh knackered. would be to put a gilera runner sp 125 engine in it ive heard they are really powerful with them in?

what is the best air filter to get for my giler a ice 50,
it has been bore out and fully de-ristricted.(still has standard air box)

my ice goes 55-57, bored out, zx exhaust, and fully de-ristricted.
But it still has the standard carb and big ugly air box. What is the best air filter to get and from where and how much thanks.

Leave it as the standard air box until u get a bigger carb. Then get a 21mm Malossi carb n malossi air filter.

ello big bear ,my ice has been fully de-resticted and has been bored out
and has a zx exhuast, it is still in the shop as i am paying weekly, the man says it goes 55.
I don't no if it does hit this speed coz i hav'nt rid it yet but just wonderin, from what iv told u.
How fast do u rekon it moves bearin in mind what iv told u? thanks joker
p.s it s still got stanard 17.5 carb and air box

i have put a 70 cc cylender kit in my ice and have a 21 mm carb zx exhuast. and it dont move faster then 10mph? im not sure what wrong?
