hi all,i've just found the head on my '87 aircooled is cracked and eaten away,has anyone a serviceable one on their shed shelf ???? or know where i can get one???.....also any info on where i can get the relevent gaskets etc

there is a scrapyard near york with 3 or 4 FSM 126s rotting away. I think at least two still have engines in them. Cars are shot but heads should be good. FSM head gives best compression too, so extra oomph. If interested I'll dig out details of yard and post them up.

hi paulb,thanks for the info,its worth chasing up,this is my only transport at the mo and its dead :-( ,i sold my lovely bis to buy this from the internet,guy told me it had a slight exhaust blow,its cost me a small fortune to get it to jersey by breakdown.
anyway,if you could dig out some contact details that would be great...........the bus service here is cr*p

hi paul,i got in touch with them,they are very helpfull but are not sure what they have there,they think they have all early italian cars,its a bit difficult to explain from jersey the difference between them!
