I would suggest you check with someone who actually knows anything about cars before opening your moody mouth, Citroens, as most people that know anything about cars already know, hardly ever rust & I think a comment about rust coming from a Ford owner is unwise. As for accidents.. My AX GT was hit at 30mph by a transit van, this totally destroyed my AX, and yet Im still here, so they cant be that bad now can they?? What Fiesta do you have? Is it a 1.0? 1.1? Or maybe a beefy 1.2?? Or perhaps you have one of the warmhatch zetecs? Get back to me when you have a clue sweetheart..

Don't get your knickers in a twist. face reality, all small cars and all classics and most vans are rubbish for internal occupancy protection. only in the last few years have manufacturers started to take crash protection seriously. So fiesta, ax, micra, metro, 100, saxo, 106, corsa, clio, all classic cars, most vans all have little real world protection. On the speed front, speed is nothing and really imaterial, if all you want to concern yourself with is speed, stay in the play pen and wait until you grow up. As for all this driver is the key rubbish. if any of you have racing licence's or advanced driver qulifications (like the police, paramedics e.t.c) i would rate you all as average or below average. I have seen self obsessed drivers, who claim to be wonderful, or better than another person have really big accidents (or just getting stuck in the car because the head is to big) I hope you all see the sense in this as it is all true. As a final note. I managed to pick up a Honda Civic 1.6Vti 3 dr hatch grey import for £1200, when put on a rolling road it has 175 bhp and handles and brakes to match it is alos light reliable and in immaculate condition it just has lots of miles. Cheers Darlings

Firstly, well done on picking up a thrashed Jap import Civic you bought a Civic well done no really, Well done,,, they are really nice, , , if you happen to be fifty. & good luck with the insurance. In addition, when you write your next comment, perhaps you could get an adult to check it for you. I think at your age you should really have mastered spelling. FYI: its not imaterial, its immaterial, its not remeber, its remember, its not chasis, its chassis, its not qulifications, its qualifications, its not alos its also, its not mechanilcally its mechanically, its not bargins, its bargains. If its such a load of tat why the pooing h*ll are you bothering to read and add your long winded views?? I thought this thread was called Citroen AX GT Why Is It So Quick so why are you bothering to comment if you dont have anything specific to say about the AX, if you are just going to add your own self obsessed, over inflated opinions about nothing to do with the AX why dont you do it somewhere else?
Cheers darlings..
