Hi
Still trying to find out make or model of this pram. I've now got it back together and wonder if anyone can help identify it. Pic attached

Wow have you done that restoration yourself? Well done. Do you have a side view you can show us it is a bit difficult to see the side detail that will help to identify it.

Hi MO5, sorry I did send you a txt (your phone was engaged when I rang!!!) well if you didn't get it I don't know where it is floating in the ether somewhere!... I am going to have to pass on your dolls I think unless I have won the lottery! I have just had the bill for Number 2 son's accomodation for Uni and a £500 bill to get my car through MOT so reborns have to go to the bottom of the list AGAIN!!! Thanks for the offer though. Good luck with your move.

Your pram has some of the hallmarks of an Allwin pram, but then again it has Osnath tendencies. The handle is throwing us, we`ve not seen that sort of handle on a pram of its` era. Earlier yes. But then these pram manufacturers made little alterations for individual customers.

Hi everyone!
I am also new to vintage pram ownership. I bought a Tenby on Ebay...new to both ebay and pram ownership,I bought a load of problems.
I adore the pram and have spent hours researching and emailing lovely prammie people.
Am in desperate need of two springs for the brakes, mine was sold without any and I could not work out what was wrong DUH!
Navy touch up paint on its way, would be most grateful for tips on using it. Is there any way to correct indented scratches?
Have enjoyed reading all your posts thank you!

Key your eye on ebay they come up sometimes or you could try contacting http://www babybirds.co.uk or Heritage Prams.
Searching for information about restoring my Tenby was how I found that I was not the only one who loved coachbuilt prams.. its opened a whole new world of most lovely people. I bought the touch up paint and still haven't used it...so would be interested in any tips anyone has on the best way to use it. It seemed to show up worse than the chips and scratches so i haven't done anymore. I hope we can both find the secret to successful touch up!!! What colour is your Tenby and what chassis and wheels do you have? (when you measure wheel diameter you need to include the tyres) Good luck

Touch up paint will never match exactly the colour of any pram. The reason is that the steel pram bodies and chassis are put thro` an oven which tends to change the colour slightly.
When applying the paint into a scratch use a brush with very few bristles, perhaps only half a dozen. Lay a little paint in the scratch, let it dry and build up gradually. When finished, T-cut over the re-painted area and the surrounding area to blend in. Go easy with the pressure as you don`t want to remove the top coat of paint. I have done this so I speak from experience.

Hi and welcome, I have used two methods of pulling out dents and have had success with both. Firstly go and speak very nicely to the body shop man in Halfords and ask will he use the suction pads he has to pull the dent out. Our Halfords has them in all sizes and he usually charges me 4 cans of Fosters. The second method is time consuming and can be a nightmare, firstly removing all the bed liner and gently pushing the dent outwards from the inside, but this can be difficult and knowing the exact amount of pressure to apply can be tricky and comes with trial and error (in my case usually error). Sometimes if the scratches are VERY minor T Cut now do car polishes with added colour and they are fantastic on the navy and black prams for very minor marks and blemishes. Haven't tried the other colours.
