Hello LynnYou will need to drill the pop rivets out of the hood corners with fine drill, a 3mm drill should do it. Pat.

I can't find Alison Murfet via Google. Do you have a web site or email?

Hi Shezzy, Thanks for the response Pat at Classy Canopies has advised that I need a chrome hook for the apron my description of an eyelet was misleading! We're putting the pram in longways it would also fit sideways ,our original thought but not with the handle on the Jazz isn't wide enough to take it. This site is great. Problem is I have a deadline for paper work and important forms to fill in and today I have been totally distracted. Have now promised myself that I won't go to bed until the forms are completed which means an all night session! Cheers , Margaret

Hi. The four finials [or whatever they are called] on the ends of the chassis need to be rechromed or changed. These are rivited on. I understand that they have to be drilled off etc but ....... how does one get them back on? These are on a dolls SX pram. If this is a difficulty could I paint them with some chrome paint which I have? Would they look dreadful next to the chrome shuolders to which they are attached? Any ideas/suggestions are most welcome. Judith

Judith check to see if the rivets have star caps, if they doo all you will need to do is pop them off, they should be on the main body bar bit, sometimes smaller star caps were used on the other fixing, not sure what you can do if they have to be drilled off, and also not sure where you would be able to get replacement ones..Just had my rose pram finals back from being rechromed they look great will post a photo later on. good luck

Hi everyone,I bought myself a sx normandy last year to restore and since my 1st baby is well on the way now I'm finally getting round to starting it. The pram has a navy hood and apron on it with navy interior in excellent condition. The lady who had owned it previously had it recovered not long before she sold it to me. I am changing the interior so have ordered a new hood, apron & bed. If anyone is interested I am selling the hood and apron for £50 (+postage) and the bed for £15 (+ postage). Th pram is in my mums so the earliest i can get to it is Monday, but I will get photos to text if needed before then. Lisa x

Hi Shezzy. The star caps which held the body to the chassis came as they should do. The rivits [I think they are rivits] hold the little chrome finials [end bits] to the ends of the chassis. I don't think that these are star caps. These finials look permanent unlike the shoulders etc which are removed easily. Many thanks for your help. Judith

I now have both apron lifts, Thanks Tina, now I need some dark brown half inch elastic to attach them to the dark brown apron. Please can anybody help. The pram is a Wilson and I think it is a Chantilly. Both my wife and I have looked to no avail. I couldn't even find any dark brown bras to cut the elastic from!
