Great. How exactly did you set up Sunday, and how did you copy it? i.e., which buttons did you press and when in the sequence? I'm a complete dunce at this, so having it spelled out would help! Thanks
I have just moved into a house with a powermax range 155x, it was a repposession so the system had been drained. It's an open vented central heating system and I have refilled it and bled the air out of the radiators. The problem I'm having is that when I fired the boiler although it says the hot water and central heating are running, it only produced hot water and the radiators didn't heat up. I did hear what sounded like the pump for the central heating running. Any ideas on what i may have missed or what the problem might be? Many thanks for your help, John

On further investigation the pipe from the boiler to the central heating pump is very hot but the pipe leading away from the pump to the radiators is cold. The pump itself is spinning. This cold pipe connects to the c/h pump via a valve but the joint between the pipe and valve is loose and shows signs of previous water leakage although it's not leaking now. I'm thinking that i need to drain down, remove the c/h pump and at least re-make that loose joint. Is it possible that then refilling the system and blowing down the vent pipe will get it working properly? or is there possibly some problem with the c/h pump or a blockage in the pipe that is preventing the hot water flowing? thanks for your help

I've read through this forum, and think that my problem could be the blender valve and / or flow restrictor - but I would be very grateful if someone could verify this ! I have a powermax 185 - 7 years old, regularly serviced. The problem is that most of the time my hot water is just a dribble. Occasionally however, the hot water DOES come out at about the cold water pressure. When the hot water pressure is high - it stays high. If the tap is turned off, and then turned on again, sometimes the pressure drops and sometimes is stays high. The high / low hot water pressure seems totally random. At first I thought it may be a build up of limescale within the boiler BUT I have changed the scale inhibitor cartridge every year since the house was new, AND when the hot water does come out fast - it really does come out fast !! Occasionally, when a hot water tap is turned on, it splutters and air comes out for 1/2 a second or so. Please please please, any help would be very gratefully received

Could you help me with a problem I'm having with my Powermax 185? I came to it today and the programmer is flashing "switch on" in the bottom right hand corner. The green light is lit on the boiler and the switch is set to both hot water and radiators. I tried resetting the programmer and now the display is completely blank except for this "switch on" writing that is flashing.
