this is a common problem due to the poor metal quality. me personaly would find aold kinroad and use the parts or just get a chain to fit the sprocket.hope this helps dan

hi there, i has this problem when i first had mine. You will probably find that the seals will not stay on. I just glued mine in place so that they wouldn't move.
I didnt have any problems after this.

I have had nothing but problems with my kinroad. First off the spark plug was no good and there for would not run. Easily fixed but at expense, Chain kept streaching and jumping off in turn rapping it self round the front sproket and punshing a whole threw the gear box plus a snapping the front sproket in half. Front wheel has gone rusty due to cheap crome, Fuel tank leaked onto exhaust u can imagine what happened. Luckily was not in it at the time!!! Cowling breaks easily due to vibrations and at this very moment it is in having a new cylinder head, barrell, piston and piston rings. The valve seats in the head and worn away due to poor design and from this lost all of its power. Finally the chock decides to put it self on and off when riding causing the bike to lurch and play silly bugas. Word of advice... Stay away from cheap chinese bikes!!!!!!! I have payed out on repairs more than half what the bike is worth.

Hi dob. Try letting the valves off a bit. I had the same problem with mine and what is happening is the the valve seats are worn and there for are not making a good enough seal to run. jamie

its only the Kinroad xt50 thats no good, most of the other bikes are good now thats why some of the dealers are now offering 2 years parts and labour.
