A bit laborious because they are individual pages, but the site is a good reference for small honda based engines. Also you can get spares from http://www.hypermotos.com/partsGB.html they are not always the cheapest but do offer good service and advice. Good luck

HAVE SENT CHECK PARTS SITE FROM STEVE GOOD PARTS SUPPLIER REGARDS
My son owns a XT50GY. We have just changed the oil at 300km. The owners manual says on page 13 'cleaning of machine oil tank and dismount related parts'. It then doesn't tell you what the 'related parts are'???? Does anyone know what they are as there is no oil filter. Also is there a workshop manual for the bike? I have the Owners Manual. Thanks
No other parts need to be dismantled just the oil plug, the clutch acts as the oil filter and there is an oil screen thats needs to be cleaned, but if you keep the oil changes at about every 5-600 miles you do not need to worry about cleaning either for a long while. you may find this useful http://www.hondaheaven.org/index.php?name=......d=32&page=2 hope this helps, if you ever need spares or performance parts try http://www.hypermotos.com/partsGB.html they always come up with the goods for me, sprockets, jets cdi etc. Good luck. Steve
Thanks for the info. Just want I wanted. I am running the bike on Castrol GTX2. (10W-40 here in France). As I have always run my 4 stoke bikes and cars on Castrol GTX I assume that this is will be suitable.

Just to say i am in the middle of getting a proper manual for kinroad regards
Is it a Workshop Manual or a Owners Manual?
HOPING PROPER WORKSHOP MANUAL KEEP EYES OPEN FOR MESSAGE WHEN I GET IT REGARDS
Jonny Jonny, I had similar concerns as my son is about the same height. We went for the XT-50 sports bike instead and it is certainly big enough
If anyone would like to send pictures or tell me what this thing does?
I am having a bit of trouble with my kinroad XT50 (what a surprise!) I was cornering and decellarated to round then accelerated to exit the corner which all seemed normal, but when I tried to decellerate-well frankly it diddnt! So I ended up having to cut off the engine and get my dad to pick me up with his van (which was then written off 2 days later-how lucky!) Its not the wire(that moves freely and looks fine) but its also not anything to do with the needle moving around, that works fine, but for some reason it just doesnt decellerate when the needle is forced back in by the spring on the plug(the black plug that forces the needle down and up). Has anyone got any ideas because I really, really dont want to spend £40 + P and P for a new carb. Thanks Jon.

my son has only had his kinroad on the road for 3 day the first 2 days were fine, followed all the advise on here checked all bolts ect after each ride, today he went on a longer trip and first of all his chain came loose, we tightened it back up and off he went again only for it to loosen again, tightened it again and it went away perfect, then he just started to loose power and the bike cut out altogther, the chain was still tight, but the bike would just not start, after a lot of trying with electric start and kick start the bike finally started again, only went a couple of yards tho and cut out again, now it will not start at all, it sounds as if it is trying to start but can't seem to fire up, if anyone has any suggestions or advice on what could be causing this we would be grateful of any help thanks Sandra
