I have just been given an Kinroad xt50 18, 2008 with a little bit of road tax. the frame, wheels, exhaust, seat etc looks absolutly fine, but a lot of the plastic bits are broken. Does anyone know of someone who would like to make me an offer for spares? It would be a shame to dump it as its done less than a 1000 miles

I have owned one of these bikes since i was 16 im now just turning 17 There has been a fue minor problems with the bike Nothing really drasticNormaly brand new top speed of no more then 35/37 miles per hrr, ii decided to get an upgrader kit for mine Which included front and back cogg, and a brand new heavy duty chain, it cost me around £50 It will now do 35 in 3rd, and up to 55 in 4th If you are going to get one of these, i really reccomend you have enough money for a upgrader kit, otherwise its pretty useless, accelleration very slow! sound quality is AWFULL.

mine is a kinroad xt50 gy which is different. so i dont think it would be suitable for your model. see picture.
hello, I purchased a kinroad xt50 in april of this year. It has had no problems but recently has developed a problem and i have no idea what it is. When i going along at 35-40 happily when i pull in the clutch to slow down the revs die and she wont rev. I have to pull over and build then back up and she will go fine. I think may have something to do with the clutch.Any comments are welcome as i really want this fixed thanls

Hi there. Assuming that it's not a fuel problem, - probably something simple - if the electrics have just been done then it could point to an underlying problem with the bike or perhaps just a loose wire somewhere. Check obvious wires first, check for a spark, if nothing, it could be possibly CDi failure. These bikes are not rocket science but any electrical fault can be a pain in the rear end if you don't know what has failed. All parts online from china-parts.co.uk under GY series & XT 50

this may sound so simplei cud not get the bike to start, because the side stand wad down? It could just be a loose connection? I'd advise to ask somone who knows about bikes to take a look.
