Hi there.
we may be able to help if you can confirm exactly what you did before the smoke appeared - just connecting the battery would not send smoke from inside the barrel without even turning it on etc..
We can locate all the spares for it too so if it's just a short circuit then repairs would be quite cheap and you could be up and running in no time

So took all the fairing off, the seat and tank, took the ignition out and found two wires stuck together that shouldnt have been, disconnected them from each other, put soem electrical tape around each one and put it back on the bike, electric start wont start the bike ( seems to be a silver piece located under the tank that just vibrates) kick started the bike and it ran first kick, ran perfectly :), no smoke coming from ignition but am going to change spark plug to uk one, new spark plug cable, new silver thingy under tank and some new fuel and oil etc .

Hi mate
It is your Starter Relay - check same pic of the part at http://www.china-parts.co.uk item ref EL010007.
Cheap to replace @ £9 but it might also make vibrating 'buzz' if your battery is shot too so probably best to replace both at once to save you hassle. Battery reference is BA001008.
