Hi all, some very interesting reading here. My problem isn't no hot water anymore, that has been fixed by replacing the Diverter Valve micro switch and the diverter valve itself. Now the problem has changed. Everything is working, but it is now necessary to turn the tap on more to make the boiler fire up. Now as you are all probably aware, when the tap / shower is turned on a needle pushes out from the diverter valve and presses against the micro switch and bingo - hot water. It would appear that more pressure is required to do this causing a fair bit of splashing in the kithchen sink and just this morning, (6.00AM), when you would think area water pressure is maxing out, the shower, fully turned on was not enough to force the needle out enough to make connection, I had to turn the bathroom tap on as well to demand more from the boiler but thus reducing the water from the shower head. Anybody know what the problem is?
