I bought a 9 year old Ford Focus last year and had a new wheel arch welded on, unfortunately an over enthuastic mechanic tried to get my 5000 RDS E.O.N. radio working again, although I have a code in my hand book when I tried this later it would not work and my radio is now showing 13 LOCKED. How can I get back in tune.
My serial No is; M281879. Thanks in anticipation. Regards Jackeen

Is the code 8737 meant for me, the one whos 5000 rds e.o.n. radio is locked and displaying 13 ? if for me, how do I input this if its locked. Thanks.

Hi Richard.I have posted a message and then seen yours.

My radio asks for the key code, I know the code, but I don't know how to bring the code in.

Press preset button 1 repeatedly until first code number comes up, press preset button 2 repeatedly until second code number comes up, press preset button 3 repeatedly until third code number comes up,
if three figure code press preset button 4 to accept code, if four number code press preset button 4 repeatedly until fourth code number comes up and then press preset button 5 to accept.
The above sequence has to be input at the correct time ie when radio asks for code or when the dashes in the display are flashing, usually when power is restored and radio has been left switched on for up to one hour.

i have just inherited a much loved k reg ford fiesta- it has a rds 2006 radio. i have the keycode but does anyone know how to save the radio stations so i can press a number button and get a specific channel?help!

Tune into the radio station you want to save, then press and hold preset button 1 until it beeps (about 2-3 seconds)
You can do this for each preset button you have.Regards
