Hi,
I have a Ford Mondeo.
I know the KeyCode for my car stereo and it is a 4-digit number, but there is no "Select" button on my stereo. Hence I am able to enter the code, but cannot select/confirm it.
In the process, I have already made 5 attempts, and a few more would lock out my system.
Can anyone help in saying what button to select after entering the code?

On my radio 6000cd, the number 1-4 buttons are for entering numbers and number 5 button is used to confirm the code..

I also have buttons 5 and 6, but there is no documentation in the user guide to say that either of those two buttons can be used to confirm the code. How did you figure out that button 5 is to be used to confirm the code? Was it written somewhere?

I have the same problem, disconnected the battery and now I have to key in the keycode for the Ford 2006 RDS. How can I get the serial number? and how to enter it?

JonD you need to remove the unit and post the serial number on here its likely to start with an M Or L or C again likely to be 4 digits so using button1 first key in the first digit if its a zero press 10 times until 0 shows on the disply if its a 1 then press once) once you have keyed in all the digits press button 5 to confirm or if your unit has an enter button press that instead of 5
you will need radio removal tools to get out the unit

that radio remover on ebay you highlighted is for a ford escort.... will it be usable for my Ford mondeo's radio (model 2006 RDS)?

if the holes in the radio front are smallish round ones yes just push then in as far as thay will go and pullout the unit most car radio shops stock them halfords do expect to pay a bit more from them
