Dear Jackeen,Bad news. If the display shows "LOCK 13", code entry will not be possible, and the unit will need to be electronically decoded by a car radio servicing specialist.

BRYCE YOUR CODE SHOULD BE 3344 BUT CHECK WHICH LETTER THERE IS BEFORE YOUR NUMBERS SHOULD BE L, M OR C AND LET ME KNOW

Hi Greg. Thank you so much for replying. I have checked again and there are no letters before the serial number. Is pretty old. 1989 or 1990 if that helps. It allowed me to enter the code but then what? It displays the code 3344. Sorry to appear thick but I am not sure what to do from here. I assumed it would fire into life. Really appreciate your help. Hi.
Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place. This is my first time.
I hope someone can help me.
I bought a very good used car FORD FOCUS (Ghia) 18.L about 3 years ago from a FORD dealer. Until now i've been using the stereo which was factory fitted in the car. Nothing wrong with the stereo itself other than lacking a CD player. I've just bought a new CD stereo player to replace the one in there. Before i swap the stereo's over i thought that maybe i should check that i have the keycode "just in case", but a phone call to the dealer to ask what the keycode is for the factor fitted stereo came to a blank, but they can still find out for me if i part with £18.50. What a con.
Please i need your help to find the keycode.
Car - Ford Focus Est 18.L (Ghia)
The Stereo Model No - 5000 RDS
Serial No - M472225

Hi Harry or anyone who can help. I have a 1993 mondeo L regd. The only number i can find that might be the serial number is 0621267. I have entered a code 528 as was given by someone with a disk, but it doesn't seem to work. Any thoughts? Can you get the code from this number supplied it is a three digit code, and after entry do i need to press any specific button?Regards, Darren.
