Hi I may have posted in the wrong area, in which case this is a repeat - sorry.After disconnecting the battery on my wife's fiesta (for a bit of electrical maintenance), I now find it won't accept the key code written in the owners manual. The radio is a 5000RDS with the serial number M089204. Can anyone help?

The code worked a treat!I cannot understand why it is so different to what has been hand written in the car's audio guide. I initially thought that the previous owner had transposed a couple of numbers, but the code you supplied (which works) doesn't contain a single digit the same as that in the guide. Confused but very gratefull

hi..please can you help...I plugged in a tyre inflator yesterday and it blew the fuse to the cigarette lighter and my radio.
since then my radio doesn't work and there are four dots on the display
i've been told I need to enter a "key code"...can you please tell me how to get it...my serial number on the side of it is MO21302 ...
your help would be greatly appreciated.

Many Many thanks to you sir....but i went to input the code but now the little dots aren't flashing and when i press the numbers nothing happens,could you spare the time to tell me what I have obviously done wrong..lol..sorry to be a pain

mackoesk- code for m013216 is=2850, cheers, gordon.tonytiger i think you have to reset it but not sure how, i think you leavr the igmition on for an hour or something with the radio turned off, if you look back in the posts you will find it somewhere, cheers, gordon.

Guess what m8..??..you were right again..lol..You da man Gordon..was a bit conerned about leaving the ignition on because i was told you might burn out the coil BUT it worked... Once again m8..many thanks

I've just replaced my battery but the keycode(if it is a code) 9359 that was wrote in the manual by a previous owner wont work on my radio.
ford escort radio = traffic 3000.
serial number = m432477.
part number = 96fp-18k876-fc
Could someone please help me,thanks.
