Hi I've just had the alternator replaced on my mondeo, but I dont have the code for the radio
The code on the side of radio is M258962 and its a 6000 CD RDS many thanks

1gumbi, you need the serial number starting with m then 6 numbers, cheers, gordon.

Hi
I just acquired a beautiful low mileage fiesta with a 2006 RDS in it which shows Code and solid dashes (no flashing) when switched on. I read somewhere that there's no solution except sending off to Ford for repair. I have left the unit switched on for hours but the code ---- simply doesn't flashI can't seem to get to a place where I can enter the code - is there some clever reset button press combination I can do to allow me to enter the key code I have for the radio??

I seem to remember having that problem years ago and I hope I'm right in saying that you need to leave it switched ON but TOTALLY DISCONNECTED for a couple of hours. THere must be no power at all to it. I may be wrong, but it won't hurt to try.

Hi, my ford fiesta's radio code has been locked, (locked 10 it says on the screen)... Was wondering if anyone knows how to reset it and get the code? Would be greatly appreciated. it's a 2004 Fiesta, Serial No. M292734.

not sure how you reset it, if you look back through the older posts it is in there somewhere, code for m292734 is= 4740,

Gordon you're a lifesaver, :) If anyone else is in the position where their radio is displaying locked 10, just hold down preset 6, and it should allow you 3 more tries on the code! But make sure you've the right one :)

Hello,i bought a car with the Ford 2006 RDS radio inside. Everythings work fine but after changing the battery the radio wants a code. I asked the prevoius owner but he didnt have the code any more. Can somebody please help me? My serial number is: M450690 Thanks, Rainer
