I've a similar issue. Battery needed replacing when I came to put my Mondeo back on the road. No audio code in vehicle handbook.

Radio is an RDS6000 EON, unit serial # is M461554.

Any chance you may be able to identify unlock code?

20 seconds and I'm back to having music again.

Now makes the 3 hour drive to take my 11 year old to Bournmouth tomorrow, for his soccer tournament a lot less stressful.

sorry to bother you mate but I've got a similar problem, with the code of a 2006rds. The serial code is M068000 and the part no. 93FB-18K876-GB. would really apprciate it understand you must be getting pretty sick of this.
