If your radio is looking for a 3 digit code then use - 078
if it requires a 4 digit code then use - 5787

Hi. I can't find a model number on my radio, just a few serial numbers. Is it possible to get a code from these? This is all I can see:-Ford Sound 2000

HeyI have the code for my Ford 2006 RDS but the system will not let me enter any code at all. When I turn the system on L362 PML is on the screen, I press select and the code message comes up but I cannot enter any numbers. Am I doing something wrong, am I locked out or am I just being incredibly dumb!? Any help anyone could give me would be great. Cheers Nia

Nia: you can usually get the code to be available again if you drive around for a while with the radio on (with just the blank code thing showing). After a while, say an hour or two, it starts flashing and you can put in a code again. Worked for me, but I don't have a code unfortunately.

After entering combinations of the five figure number (82170) which is written on the casing of my 'Ford Sound 2000/model 2005/ Serial No. 026549', the 'code dashes' have stood still and it will take nothing only 'on/off'. The geezer in the local mobile phone shop says theres no point in him finding me the code, because the unit is scrap. Any help would be appreciated.
