Fiat 126 Repsray? Lighting probs!

What is a good price for having a Bis resprayed in it's original colour (1989 yellow). There are a couple of dents and the drivers door is a bit wavey so these will need repairing, however there is no rust at all. I have been quoted £500 but I would have to strip the car to the shell myself, is this a good price? Thanks for anyones help!! Also Driving around this evening and switched the lights from dipped to full, went back to dipped but no lights only full beam working. Checked fuses under bonnent all ok what's happened??
