My apologies if this has been asked before.

Me my 2 children and boyfriend are off to bulgaria in June for a week HB in Sunny Beach and wondered if anybody has been and if so have any tips for me such as places to visit places to eat and roughly how much things cost.

All help much appreciated.

Hi

I love Bulgaria but you must be aware that there will be a lot of building work going on in the coastal resorts. Bulgaria has been discovered big time by the brits. You will find loads of restuarants around the resort. All will be good and good value too. My advice is do not eat in the hotels. Food is of poor quality compared with local restuarants. I am sure you will have a good time. The beaches are great and everything is so cheap. Mosts places cater for the western palet. Although please do try some local specialities.

For lunch why not buy some fresh bread and meat and the fruit is very tasty too.

If you are a smoker be careful about buying packs of 200 cigarettes from street vendors. Some can be fakes. They are so cheap anyway, buy them from a local shop or bar. You can also buy cigarettes at the arrivals duty free at the airport.

I hope this is helpful.
