rspca and kennel club are trying to bring new laws in with the goverment to ban all breading of staff types now because of the long leg staff that is becomeing more pop today,kennel club do not reconise the long leg staff,so how is it a bad dog well to tell you the truth like i sad over and over again all dogs were crossed to get a breed,so how does anyone know that makeing a standed was the best of the breed,amrican bulldogs are not known to be a danger,as a amrican bulldog owner you tell me if im wrong, and a staff is a nanny of dogs, my little bitch is amrican bulldog and staff she is just a big staff not tall tall but wide she is out of this world,so why is the govement trying to ban this dog,, can you tell me a bit about your breed, how it was crossed to get its breed,what it was breed for,what is said about your breed and kids,are thay used for guard dogs,and why do thay think croosing a amrican with a staff is danger thanks sam

the american bulldog was origianally taken over to america by the english settlers and was used as a farm protection dog. its duties would include taking down stray cattle ,hog catching and also unfortunately used by evil wimps for dog fighting. this dog who is mastiff stock was then crossed with a pug type dog to create our english bulldog for god knows what reason.(the english bulldog of today cant even run, let alone catch anything, and is so unhealthy that they cant even give birth naturally}. another cross was found to create a more dog aggressive type better for fighting and that was the pitbull terrier made as you can imagine from the name from a cross of american bulldog cross terrier ie maybe a staff, im not sure someone told me they used three types of terrier. so as you see you this is why people say yours is a bad cross. i think that crossing a staff with a bulldog, is only a bad idea if ,as with all dogs either of the parents temperaments are unsound and the owner tries to protection train it .in which case you are asking for trouble.in the right enviroment and with plenty of love and dedication all of our beloved bull breeds will prosper and hopefully go to show as we all know well enough, that in the right hands a bulldog of any type is one of the best creatures on this planet.

so what you saying claire , you saying i own a pittbull you saying that im in to dog fighting to you saying im a wimp to because i own a pittbull he he only jokeing my love, i dont think my sky looks like a pitt , you see my mate bread her my mates own bitch is a staff and ive seen photos of the dad he is just a big wide lump not big as in tall but as wide, i will have to send you some photos,to show ya her now,,, thanks for that info on the usa bulldog send me some photos of you bulldog mate [Log in to view email]

sam you had me worried for a minite, glad you joking as certainly didnt mean to cause offence. but do be a bit carefull who you tell about what type of dog she is as some idiots may say that particular cross makes a pit. personally i would love to have a red nose pit as think they are gorgeious but would be too scared it would be taken off me and killed by brainless authorities. will have to sort out some pics soon as am so proud of my brood. long may our special babies live on.

log on to http://www.icliverpool.co.uk and check out the echo's deed not breed campain, i have a big staff bitch an im always asked if its a pitt there is no one who can 100% confirm what is a pitt bull as both the staff and he pitt originate from the same blood line.

Pit bulls were bred to be aggressive. In the right hands they are just like other dogs. You will notice that alot of drug dealers and crooks have pitballs and staffys etc and People think they are all like that because of what they see on tv. I makes me sick!! ok some dogs are aggressive but if they are trained right and have a loving home and good healthy lifestyle they are fine. Dogs arent mans best friend for nothing.
I have 2 staffys and a doberman. All are said to be aggressive dogs but these are so soft and loving. People are much more dangerous then any dog!!! Its like guns. Guns are dangerous in the wrong hands. They shouldnt have been made but they was and they need to be respected and handled right or you will get hurt!! It is so horrible to hear that a dog has attacked someone and it is horrible when you hear that the dog is destroyed! People arent destroyed when they do something like that! Ok its not quite the same but can any honestly tell me that a professional cannot train a dog after something like that has happened?
I think fear gets the better of people and they give up to easily!

ppl are attacked by dogs every day but only pitbull type dogs attract the press. the media can destroy anything they put there minds to. also pitbulls were bred to be aggresive with other dogs and not people so if one is aggresive with people its down to the way it was raised.

its all about pittbulls akitas dabermans rotties mastiffs all these dogs were bred 4 agressive puposes and it seems as though its these dogs that are deemed as ''nasty'' i would love 2 c a 3 page spread on a jack russel attack
