Not sure if the sea will be that warm in Spain at this time of year! Mind you I'm a bit feeble if the water is too cold. You could book a villa instead with a pool, if you're an AA Member they do money-off villas in Spain, on their website, with a company called Cottages4You, they might be really cheap at this time of year.

Malta, is nice should be warm but not too hot but do not take a bucket and spade, they only have 2 beaches on the whole island.
Very relegious country with lots and I mean lots of churches to see as well as a beautiful capital Valetta.
Or you could try Tenerife at this time of year (every one else does )hot, but dearer than Malta and a chance to use a bucket and spade if you can put up with Black sand more of a beach holiday than Malta.

Try Turkey, Think you & the kids will love it, we've only been to marmaris but its a fantastic place. The locals are very friendly & it doesnt cost the earth to stay there.

Hi Davis, what about the Dordogne in South West France ? Have you ever been there ? Really nice for a family because there is animals of the farm in that place. If you want precisions or more, ask and we will be pleased to answer you.

Hi, our place is in cabo roig, which is 10 minutes north along the coast from murcia airport.

When we bought the apartment, the agents furnished it for us, which i dont recommend as they put a significant premium on top of the cost of the furniture.

In Punta Prima and all along the N332 from cabo roig to torrevieja there are furniture shops of varying styles and quality. It is certainly worth shopping around.

Is your place built? was it new-build or resale?

Thanks

Darren
