hi make u seem very busy on this section and i think u have done a job well done thanks, and heres mine i have just bought a 1991 trophy 500/5 GL but i dont know the weight because the plate is missing or i am not looking in the right place- please can u tell me about it and mainly the weight in kgs thanks in advance.

hi mark thanks for all the help u have been giving us, i have posted a message and made a mess of it so i will try again.
i have a 1991 trophy 500/5 GL cant find the plate and need to know the weight and anymore about the caravan u can tell me thanks

Hi Dave. The 500GL hadan exworks unladen weight of 840kg and a gross weight of 1095kg it had an internal length of 16'4" and 21'3" overall. Itwas the middle of the range at the time asthey did a base"L" and a top "XL" As standard the GL had Hot water, shower, double glazing, fridge, 240 volt & FireHope this helps, regards, Mark http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

hi mark thanks for all the info on the trophy, i am allso looking for an awning to fit the caravan- its 9025cm around and about 16 1/2 foot long. if u have one or come across one please let me know (second hand please) i also payed £1,600 for this caravan what do u think is it an o.k. price(its in a o.k. condtion) cheers

Hi paul beware causea MK3 Award was built in 1993 so watch out. After 92 they were CRIS registered and would have had a 17 digit VIN number. Regards, Mark

I've just bought a Swift Corniche 14/2 2 berth with end kitchen and would be interested to know how I can value and date the van. The seller told me it was a 1991 but I'm not sure. I would also be interested to know the weight plus where I can get the original owners manual from.
There is a chassis plate that reads... Chassis manufactured by Syspal Ltd Chassis no: B5983. There are also some numbers "stamped" onto the a frame near the handbrake that read... 8614335
All help gratefully received...

Hello .I have bought an LMC munsterland caravan.This is my first caravan so I was wondering if you tell anything about them,like location of any vin plates or other identifying marks.I was told that it was 1993 model but I`d like to be sure ..thank you....

gail if you look on the top of your towball hitch there should be a year date stamped on that that is how i found out the year of my van..

Hi Mark,
I have just bought an ABI ACE VICEROY caravan. Have been told its '91'.
17ft long (excluding A frame), has gold/bronze? band around middle.
Any idea what year it might be?
