The Musketeer CD was made for quite a number of years from 1978. If it was manufactured by C.I. then it was pre July 1991.They were around 14' in length with 2 double beds, 1 at each end. If you can let me know the outside colouring or even better the serial number then we can tell you more about it. Regards Mark Lewis http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

The Sprite Musketeer is a 1981 model. SV stood for "Special Value" and was just £1930 when new. It has an internal body length of 14'3" and a shipping length of 17'6" and weighed just 12cwt (613kg)unladen. The weight was kept down by excluding fittings such as a fridge, mains electric, an oven and a heater so it was quite basic. These items are often fitted as extras so the actual weight now could be heavier. regards Mark Lewis http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

We have lost the manual for our Abbey Spectrum 620 1996 model. Would you be able to supply us with one? Also do you know if it is possible to put a bike rack on the back of the caravan as I have seen bike racks on newer models. Also is it possible to put in extra bunks to convert the four berth to a six berth. The caravan has the wide window at the back rather than the narrow window. Any information would be appreciated.Cathy [Log in to view email]

I have a brochure on your van and a handbook but this is 96 pages and to photocopy it all would cost a fortune? If there is any particular 'bits' you want to know drop me a line at our e~mail address. Yes bike racks are available and people do fit them but I don't consider it good practice to fasten this amount of weight on "the tail of the dog" it would seem very unstable also it makes your unit likely to rain in. Most Bessacarrs were white with brown stripes. The serial number should be on a plate by the door. If the van has a seperate gas bottle locker the it will be from the 1980's If you can let me know if it has a Cascade "1" water heater (flued through the floor)or a cascade "2" (flue through the wall) I will be able to help. Regards Mark Lewis

The Select Gold range was made for Lowdham Caravans. If it is a 4 berth it will be a 450/4 with a centre toilet or a 520/4 with a seperate end bathroom. Please contact me if you require further details. Regards mark lewis http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

A private buyer would expect to pay around £3500 for a van such as yours but condition will play an important part and if you are willing to take a trade in against it. we currently have a 92 model Cyclone GTX for £3950 including our "Starter Pack" Regards Mark http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

Hi. you are testing me here (i do actually remember having a "Pony" in stock ONCE!) According to my records Mustang built the model in the early days of 1971-76. then in 1979 and again between 1982 and 1983 shortly before they ceased production altogether. If yours is the 83 model it was one of the last, it would be 13' body length, 16'11" overall, 4 berth, Its unladen weight was 14.2cwt and a gross weight of 16.5cwt. It had a narrowish double bed at the front, the kitchen in the centre opposite the door with the toilet compartment at the rear next to the kitchen. There was a bunk bed arrangement at the nearside rear. The van would still have the "older" type gas locker on the front, with 3 windows above, but would have had a galvanised chassis which was a plus point. Double glazing, fridge, flued heater and oven were standard in the GTS (£4490) The GTSX (£4770) had hot water and shower Hope this is of some help. It ALL depends on condition and if it leaks water? A poor one would be worth virtually nothing whereas a nice clean one with a shower anything up to £1500
