Hi there I have got a Sprite Musketeer I am not sure which year it is. I can't read the chassis no: but it came with a certificate and it says chassis is no: is F83/515793. It has smoked double glazed windows and colour is cream and pink. The pink is the bottom half. If you have any info of year I would be grateful

Front window is single glass. Has CD player built into cupboard. And speakers in back. Don't know if last person put this in himself. If you have any info of year I would be grateful

You will find great difficulty finding info on Tabberts. If you visit a Travellers camp there will be a few you can measure for the awning size! The latest importer i have record of was at PO Box 1349, Stoke on Trent ST4 8GJ Tel:01782 646101 but this was in 2000 and they seem to have gone now? I would stick to an English make if I were you. regards, Mark

Hi Charmagne. Your Sprite is a 1983. If you want to send me an SAE and a pounds worth of extra stamps I will photocopy the brochure for you. regards, Mark http://www.callendercaravans.co.uk

Hi Chris it was one of the second generation "400's" it probably has GL written on it. They nade them in 85 and 86. Yours is a 1985 model which cost £2345 when new. It was very lightwewight and should, even now, fly along behind your car!! Regards, Mark

I've just been given a Monza 1400ct, serial number 21532M. Can you give me an idea of when it was manufactured. Its a 4 berth with a single brown strip above the wheel arches. Having a nightmare trying to find somewhere to store it in hertfordshire and its probably too old to insure. Thanks

Hi Samuel my records say its a 1979 model. It should be one of the last glass windowed models just before they started using plastic ones. regards, Mark

Thousand thanks Mark. Its in quite good condition for its age. All i need now is the covers for the lights at the rear as these have been smashed. Do you know if these are easy to get hold of? Does anyone know of any insurance companies that will insure very old caravans (25 yrs+)

As i remember the rear lights were those 3" circular ones which were only fitted that one year and you never see anywhere other than on old landrovers? As to insurance it is not compulsary and really it isnt worth doing as long as your contents are covered by your house insurance. Most companies have a minimum of £2000 of value insured and will also make you pay at least the first £100 in excess if you make a claim. This will cost you £70 a year plus. You may as well put this money aside in a pot for a year or two and save it!!. Your car insurance should cover the van 3rd party while it is attached. Please check 1st.
