Hi Angela with regard to your Sprite rooflight my reply to you is the same as to Angela with her Eccles! They were both made by CI and have been obsolete for some time. You may be able to alter the aperture to make a new "Heki" style rooflight but these cost more than a 30 year old caravan :----((

Mark - one last question - what do you think the empty weight of the 1970 Bailey Maestro might be? It's not a big issue right now, as I have a stout enough tow car - my guess is around the 700 kg mark?

Yes the ex works was 660kg at the time but they tend to put a few pounds on over the years so 700kg won't be far off! LOL

Hi Chris. Foreign caravans are'nt my strong subject but the Orline model was introduced in th early 90's and from your number yours could well be a 1991 model. They produced it in 33, 34 and 39 models with varying layouts. I attach a picture of a 92 33 model which had a pull out side. Cheers, Mark

Hi Jamie, from the number of your Rallyman it is either a 1984 or a 1985. The difference between the 2 was quite obvious. The 84 had an eye level oven/grill built into the wardrobe, had a seperate gas bottle locker and originally had net curtains, the stripe was a maroon/grey combination. The 85 model had a built in gas locker below a bow fronted window and a brown stripe. Let me know which one. Cheers, Mark

Yes Jamie that is the 1984 version. 14'3" body length, 16' overall, 7'3" wide, 630kg unladen, 777kg max. You should check which tyres are fitted, which will probably be 155xR13 in which case 34 p.s.i. but check with a tyre dealer first. Cheers, Mark

Jamie, your 8 ply tyres will be stronger than your caravan, LOL! A commercial tyre could well need 54p.s.i. - I presume you have visited a tyre service for verification? The warmth could be coming from your brakes! Jack the van up and spin the wheels to check.

Hi Allyn I have said on a few occasions that I don't know about foreign (none UK spec) caravans and what I know about a Fleureette I can write on a postage stamp! From the number it looks like you have a 400T but as far as I know they never exported any UK versions over here. A 1992 model looked like this one with a pop up roof (as opposed to folding)
