Mark thanks a lot for help, can you tell me what you think about thishttp://tiny.pl/hhnsz All looks exactly like my caravan from outside and inside even wallpaper, all is on the same place e.g thermometer, barometer. The production of this model was finished in which year? The previous information satisfies me, because I thought that this caravan is between 1978-1980 year. Thanks again :)

Vipo the only sure way of finding the correct replacement bearing is to remove the old one and take the numbers off it. We keep a host of bearings but none ever have a caravan make written on them! Cheers, Mark

Hi again Paol. Somebody else asked exactly the same question a couple of weeks ago. If you go back one page to P128 and scroll down to 30th July you will see diesel dog ask about his Rallyman serial number 261424. He shows a picture of his which is a 1984 model. Your number is slightly later so yours may be the 1985 model with the brown stripe and the bow shaped front window? Regards, Mark

Hi Davituk that link you give is also showing a 1982 Whirlwind GT which was the last year that model was made until it was reincarnated in 1993 for just one year. In 1983 the GT was replaced with the DeLuxe, again just for one season. In 1989 they tried again and called it a GTX and there is a pic of it (a slightly longer Mistral) below ~ as you can see a VERY different caravan from what is described in the "sale"

Hi Ellie the 94 Elddis Crown was made in 13/2, 14/2, 15/4 and 15/5 versions. They also made a Golden Crown in a 17/4 version. As you say the "names" came the year after. Cheers, Mark

Yes Ellie you have the 1994 Golden Crown 17/4 which had the 2 gas locker doors and the drop down window as per this floor plan:I think you will find that the "extra" bit of maroon colour up the front corner has been "painted" on afterwards? I no longer do handbooks. Regards, Mark

Hi Debs, your Ace Rallyman is a 1985 not a 1989. The oven/grill unit was made specifically for A.B.I. in the mid 80's as the hob did not have a combined grill. From memory it was made by Optimus but I hav'nt seen any spares for these for years now. Maybe a trip to the caravan breakers would be a good idea, as there is'nt anything I know of that would fit in the designated space? Good luck, Mark
