Express Dinghy

had my first sail of the year my Express Dinghy K521 on saturday, myself and a crew we are at the end of last season that we would join in the club racing in 2007 season.we had to re step the mast and re- it (the only part we got wrong was that we got the main sheet pullys round the wrong way so the main sheet ended up about 2 metres shorter than it should have been). The first race was fine we just followedthe rest of the fleet round and we ended up 1.1/2 laps behind. (Any tips of how we can go faster greatley wellcome) . I have run out of time ( got to get back to work) I will continue this at a later on this week
