I have had a Vodafone (Maxon)MN1 for nearly 2 years, I paid £15 for it 2nd hand.

The battery is now on its last legs and I am looking to replace the phone.

My plan is to buy a new Vodafone and transfer my old SIM card, I want to keep my number and my Original tariff.

Can you still do this or do you need to get the phone unlocked (assuming I buy another phone on a Vodafone PAYT tariff). Is there any make of phone I should avoid if I want to do this?

As long as you buy a vodafone fone your sim card will work in it.
