Hi , we are looking for dog friendly places , prob self catering , but having a good look around , ( lots of great places on dogfriendlybritain.co.uk ) but the prices are amazing , just wondered if anyone could reccomend anything ( poss somerset , dorset , devon way ) that is comfortable , but not over the top , in about may , june time , thanks in anticipation .

Hi have you looked at a caravan holiday. They are cheap and most of the time you can take dogs.I go camping with my dog. It can cost a lot to buy everything but once you have it all it works out well cheap and most camp sites will let you take your dog just as long as you keep her on a lead and clean up after her.

Hi guys , Lina we have a touring caravan but it's getting a bit tired now , and no chance of a new one at the mo , anyway we have decided on a short break in kent for now without the dogs ( daughters are doggy sitting so no probs there ) poss going to sandford park next year as hubby's union runs holidays for members there , so please let us know if it's as nice as it sounds , thanks for taking the time to reply .

Hi I can recommend Venns Views in Cheddar, Somersetgreat prices
really dog friendly and very relaxing
very clean accommodation (small but everything you need)
owners friendly and great customer service
stayed there a few times
lovely large garden area at back with field area gated for playtime with dog. http://www.vennsviews.co.uk/ you are not far away from anywhere, Weston-Supermare, Brean etc loads of beaches and great doggy walks and 10 minutes walk away there is a fantastic pub The Gardeners Arms you can take your dog in the bar and have a lovely meal and are made very welcome.
very easy to walk into Cheddar gorge argggggg want to go back straightaway now lol ! and no ... I don't get paid for this lol - we just love the place with our German Shepherd!

Hi , thanks for that , we have just booked a sun break to Brean for next spring so will def go for a look around while we are there , thanks again , it sounds just our sort of place .

fair play,its nice there,great if you got kids or if you want a quiet break,if you got kids you will prob be stuck in the fair most of the time lol
