For those parents whose kids suffer ear
infections it's a burning topic. We all
know how it happens and why - more to
the point let's share the tips for
easing the pain and hopefully preventing
further infections.

My son is prone and suffers them very
often. He is 15 months old. Steps I took
so far:
1. Stopped feeding him (milk) on his
back - this way the eustakhian tubes
block more easily
2. Raised the top of his cot to assist
drainage as well
3. Started using nasal spray to help
wash away the unwanted bacteria entering
through the nose
