I wonder if someone might be able to help me?
I'm looking to buy myself a 126 (probably a BIS) as a second vehicle to the family, but will my daily car.
So the first thing I'd like to know is I'm I completely mad?

My thoughts are to find a reliable car but that perhaps needs some light restoration / tidying.
I travel about 35 mile round trip to work and is primarily what I indend to use it for (and pleasure of course!!) looking to spend under £500 -
I've been tracking 126's on ebay and they seem to come at this price range frequently enough.
So was wondering, Generally are cars in the price bracket capable of being used for this kind of mileage, or do I need to look at spending more?
Also, Does anyone know of any solid cars for sale around this price on the south coast (closer to Portsmouth the better)

Any help or advice or buying one of these 'babies' would be much appreciated.
