When i turn my hot tap on I get no hot water, when i turn the heating on i get heating, if i turn the hot water tap when heating is on it goes off.
I have changed the hot water flow switch and put a new PC Board as directed by Ariston iso far £190 and it still does not work ? HELP

im no genius but has it got a micro switch on the hot water side i had a valiant doing just the same turned out that the diaphram on the hot water side looses its stretchness after a while so it did not expand enough to touch the micro switch which gave it the spark, to check this have cover of boiler turn on tap see what it does if it looks like a arm is moving onto some kind of micro switch use an insulated object to press the micro switch if it does not work then chances are that its the micro switch whats wrong, if when you press switch it lights then its the diaphram do what i did stick an object on the switch to bridge the gap to allow for wear i made the mistake of fitting a new diaphram only for it to do the same some months later after altering the switch it never played up again then again i also have an alpha 32kw combi cracking machine but every year or so dirt builds up in the heat exchanger i think? thats what its called it looks like a car oil cooler anyhow the symptoms are identical to yours so i take it out clean it flush water through it several times so that no more dirt comes out put back together and its fine
