Audi Allroad suitability for towing

Audi Allroad suitability for towing

Thinking ahead to when we change our existing 3L Vauxhall Omega Estate, we need something capable of towing a heavy van (MTPLM 1500), but we prefer an estate to a big chunky 4x4. However, we do appreciate the ability of a 4x4 when trying to manouveur on wet ground having got stuck a few times, even without the van attached. Therefore, the current favourite is a cross between the two. Has anyone any experience of the Audi A6 Allroad for towing? Any other comments about the car would also be appreciated.
