Thanks for replying! She was ok all along. I got her seen to, but think in majority it was myself! I just bought her new, and because shes so small and 28 yr old, I wasnt applying enough force when pulling the starter lever up- In case I broke it! No harm done. He oiled the starter and tightened it up anyway. These wee things you have to learn. Ive just had her serviced and running like a dream- touch wood! When I was unsure, I was starting her in second gear. No probs there lol! Have got my Haynes manual now, so will have to go back to school and learn a bit! Cheers. Alan
