Hi- I think it would be a good idea to start a new forum. What about the 1970's, for example?

Kaftans, Poncho's, skin tight boots, smiley jewellery, perfumes..... I remember smitty, Jovan musk[still love that], Tramp, In Love by Norman Hartnell, Aqua Manda& Aqua Citra[both yuk!], and a lovely Yardleys perfume called Sea Jade- i wish you could still get that today!

Yep! 45 years old and not ashamed of it- cos i had agreat time during the 70's cos i seemed to catch the end of the sixties, and all of the seventies[10 in '72], and i tell you, if i had my chance to change the time i was young in- i wouldnt change it for the world- It was a special time for young people then- everything had become so much more laid back- and wacky!-the clothes, music,TV, and disco's. Even our mums seemed trendy-they liked the music and the fashions, after the sixties-when the mums looked older than their years, in old fuddy clothes, and perms, and old edna everage glasses frames, and head scarfs! My mum started to wear all the GROOVY stuff! and we used to go shopping in norwich for the latest stuff-i look back now and some of my stuff was terrible-but i think then the more colourful and outlandish the gear, the more like the fashionable of London you were.
