Help Me Boiler

and the symbol to say we have cenntral heating my dad told my about a tap like thing by the boiler which will fix it but i dont know what to do with it i have tried turning it but that doesnt seem to help any help would really be apreeciated

they are not for boys. water and 240v's + boy they knows nothing about boilers. not good! call a family member thats nearby and capable of doing it and dont mess about with it yourself seriously !
