my zig unit has the name peter everard on it and is fitted to my talbot express florida range orlando motorhome , can you email me a copy of your diagram as well please as i am in the middle of a refit and my mechanic has stripped the wiring out of my water heater and spare battery links so i am a bit f****D if u know what i mean ....many thanks .berny campbell

just jumping on the bandwagon for a cf8 manual if possmy mail: [Log in to view email] do all owners throw the manuals for their equipment away, maybe a site devoted to manuals is in order.......

Would be most grateful for copy of Zig CF8 handbook. I contacted the manufacturers but they faxed me a copy of the
caravan wiring only. I need to replace a resistor and I hope there is a circuit diagram of the unit itself.

I'm new to all this and the campervan I've just bought doesnt have a zig unit.
I've found a couple of second hand ones but want to know exactly what they do and how they work before I buy.

Ray,Thanks for that, however it says that there is a virus in the attachment. Its probably the file type.

i have just recently rewired my cascade 2 heater up again and connected it to the spare battery and the lights came on and the water pumped and the hot water came out and i was made up, so i left it on and switched the unit off from the wall control switch and left the van really happy , 2 days later i go back to tidy electric wiring up and kneel down and my knees are soaking wet , the carpet was sodden and i had to take it out completely it was rubber backed and like a sponge , i replaced the carpet with sticky back block tiling and it looks great again but i think the problem was caused by the pump continually coming on , thereby causing pressure to build up and create a leak somewhere in my system ,has anyone a good idea on what i have done wrong is there a cut off switch for pump ? or any other ideas most gratefully accepted ....berny campbell...it doesnt half pi** me off
