Dear sir,

I have the same problem with the X7.
Question: Do you still have the values and the colours of the R48??

Sincerely,

Hi Nev
It has been a long time since your Zig x7 request......
Did you come across any one who had a technical background?
I have an x7 fitted to my van and they were aparently not a very reliable unit here in Oz
My unit suffers from an output of 15+ volts and I am worried the halogen lights throughout the van will start to die.
By the way, the R48 is 69 ohms and mine has also been running very hot

Cheers
Phil Lynch

Hi Mike,

Sorry to trouble you I know this is a bit of a long shot, do you still have the wiring instructions for the ACU2 zig charger and the zig cf7g unit?

If so would you be able to send them to me, if not could you direct me to the place (website or whatever) were you eventually got them from.

Many thanks Mark.

Jeff, I appreciate this is an old post, however did you get a response to your query. I too have a Zig E3 and am having the same problems. Did you manage to get a copy of the manual or indeed has anyone out there got a copy of the manual. I have pestered with it for the best part of a week and am almost at the 'try a sledgehammer' stage.
Thanks
Tony

Hi Phil
I have the low voltage output problem with my X7 but R48 measures 69 ohms which I assume is ok. Did you cure your problem or know of anyone who has managed to mend it!!
Regards Mike

Does anyone know where you can get replacement fuse holders for the Symphony Systems 2s4v transformer unit (ED Systems). We have had two glass fuses break in the holders and we can't find anywhere to buy new holders. Any help appreciated.

I've been searching for 2 years for replacement fuse holders for these without luck. In my opinion you now know one of the reasons why Symphony's designs didn't last - this is one of their biggest faults. Your best bet is to keep monitoring caravan breakers and look out for a second hand control panel ( the small 2S3V can normally be got for about £ 5.00 and will give you 3 fuse holders).

Thanks Barry

Have read all the old posts in this subject but nothing relevant to my request.....
I have a Zig charger unit ESM2000 from a Swift caravan approx 2004.
It is now fitted in a motorhome van conversion ( not done by us) but has never been wired to 12v.
Does anyone know where i can get a wiring diagram for it as i want to put a split charge relay on the system.
The unit actually looks like its got a relay on the back of it but specific diagram would help.
Thanks

I have a Zig X-7 charger fitted to my caravan. I thought it was faulty and removed it for testing (it wasn't!!) but stupidly I forgot to mark the terminals from which I removed the connectors.

The charger terminals are -4, -3, 2+ and 1+. The 2 caravan wires are Red and White/Brown.
Would be really grateful for any advice as to how to reconnect.
Thanks
John Evans

John - go to my website and download the X 70 / X 80 manual which is OK for the X7 which gives you a wiring diagram for the terminals - From memory I think you will be using nos 1 and 4 ( but pls check ) then red to positive and white/brown to negative

Thanks
Barry

Barry-
Really grateful for this- I can,t believe I didn't mark the terminals but I suppose I thought the charger was at fauilt and would not be refitted!!
Thanks again.
