Hi Mills, First of all, it would help if you posted your query in the campervan forum rather than the caravan forum! (You say you have a Talbot Express - I've never heard of a Talbot Express caravan!) You can get a Zig CF8 manual and wiring diagram here: http://www.freewebs.com/12voltsdc that should help you. Regards D P.S. It's never a good idea to disconnect cables without marking where they came from! P.P.S. Apart from mains cable colours (Brown live, Blue neutral, Green/Yellow earth) there is no standard colour system for cables, so you need to know what your cables are doing, regardless of their colours! One man's yellow is another man's red!

Oh - and to check if your LB is being charged on mains hook-up, stick a meter across the battery, both with the mains on and the mains off. If it's being charged by the mains/transformer/charger then the reading will be higher (probably around 13.8 volts) with the mains on. Hope that helps D

Hi Mills, Quote: "what is this all about caravan site logged into motorhomes thanks" Look again! You are posting in Forums> Caravans and Camping> Caravans! And yes, caravans do have Zig units, but there are basic wiring differences between caravan ones and campervan (motorhome) ones, since motorhomes don't have cars towing them! (Well, not often, anyway....) Regards D
